Why I do what I do
It has been my experience if I can relate something in the student’s life to math, science or ELA – scholars are more focused and engaged. There are too many minority scholars who are not excelling in math and science, and “I want to change that equation.”

Fun fact about me
A group I’m in had the honor to sing background vocals on an album for “The First Lady of Gospel Music”, as well as being background vocalists for quite a few of gospel’s greatest.
